Program Overview:

EmpowerHer is a comprehensive youth mentoring program designed to empower girls aged 10-25 through leadership development, mental health support, and other crucial components. By providing positive role models, guidance, and a supportive community, EmpowerHer seeks to equip girls with the tools and skills necessary for a successful future.

Program Components:

  1. One-on-One Mentoring: Each girl will be paired with a trained and dedicated mentor who will provide personalized guidance, support, and encouragement. Mentors will serve as positive role models, helping girls build self-esteem, develop leadership skills, set goals, and overcome challenges.
  2. Group Workshops and Activities: Conduct interactive workshops and engaging group activities focused on leadership development, self-expression, communication skills, teamwork, and critical thinking. These workshops will be designed to enhance girls’ self-awareness, decision-making abilities, and confidence.
  3. Mental Health and Wellness Support: Recognizing the importance of mental health, the program will incorporate mental health support through workshops, discussions, and resources. Trained professionals will provide guidance on stress management, emotional well-being, self-care, and coping strategies to foster resilience and positive mental health.
  4. Skill-Building Sessions: Organize skill-building sessions to expose girls to a variety of disciplines, such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), arts and creativity, entrepreneurship, and life skills. Master Program for girls/women aged 16-25

  • Tailored Mentorship: Adjust the mentorship component to match the age range. Mentors with expertise in areas such as higher education, career exploration, and personal growth during early adulthood can provide valuable guidance.
  • Advanced Skill Development: Expand the skill-building sessions and workshops to include topics relevant to young adults, such as financial literacy, job readiness, entrepreneurship, and professional networking. Provide training opportunities for resume building, interview skills, and navigating higher education or vocational paths.
  • College and Career Readiness: Place a stronger emphasis on college and career readiness, assisting participants in exploring post-secondary education options, identifying scholarships and financial aid resources, and developing essential skills for success in higher education or the workforce. Offer workshops on selecting majors, internship opportunities, and building professional networks.
